**** As of 5/10/17, we are in the process of updating our many, more recent success stories. These will be added in the near future. For the time being, you are welcome to check out some of our success stories below from previous years/students!
Charles came to 4to1dog.com, and quickly went from a slightly winning player to an outright crusher at the low/mid stakes. The chart below shows before and after his start date with #TeamDog on Merge only. Despite being a winning player on other sites, as you can see he had actually lost on Merge prior to joining #TeamDog. Now, a few months he has shipped the Sunday Big 33, the Sunday Big 11, and won 2 of the 4 OPS events that ran in the same night topping combined fields of 2,779 players! He is one of the most competitive players at his buy-in levels across multiple sites. More importantly, though the hard work of his coaches, his teammates, and most importantly himself…..he has opened up his game considerably and is threat to win each time he sits down. Congrats Charles! Hard work pays off sir!
“Before coming to 4to1dog I didn’t fully understand many concepts in tournament poker. The game had clearly passed me by. The clarity in which the 4to1dog coaches explain the amount of options one has in each hand is second to none. As a former member of several coaching/training websites I can confidently say 4to1dog has the best video library in the game. My confidence at the tables is sky high and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to join the 4to1dog coaching community.
Known online as “lesterdrugs”, Jeremy found 4to1dog.com and took his game to another level. A very coachable player, a great teammate, and a very hard worker, he has developed into an excellent poker mind that is a force both on and off the tables. As you can see by the data below he has played an almost identical number of games before and after joining #TeamDog. His ROI has more than doubled, his profit has tripled, and he has become a leader in the 421 community. Congrats Jeremy! Well deserved sir!
Zach had a small amount of success pre-Black Friday in 2011, but had not really played online since. When he got back into the game in 2014, he found 4 to 1 Dog Poker. A hard working player with a natural feel for the game, he was able to take his game from slightly profitable to very profitable with the help of 4to1dog.com coaches and teammates. With an average buy-in of under 5 dollars, he has netted almost 4 K on Merge alone since joining Team Dog and getting back into online poker. A 72 percent ROI!!
Wes Rockwood came to 4to1dog.com as a winning player, and took his game to the next level. The top chart below shows his progress on the Merge network prior to becoming a member of #TeamDog, and the bottom chart shows his progress from his start date going forward.
“4to1dog and his coaches taught me a whole new side to the game of poker. Mostly that poker is about situations, and not about cards. The video library, webinars, private forums, and one on one coaching that you get as a member of Team Dog is the best value out there, as everything is included. Probably best of all, is the fact that concepts are explained in a way that makes things easy to learn and apply. Would definitely recommend to anyone serious about their game.”
“Hello to all here at 4to1Dog.com. Let me start off by saying, I cannot put into words what I am learning from the videos and content of this site. Simply put, I am very successful at the lower stakes games on the US sites. I have a $15 avg. buy-in and have made over $50k on a slow but steady grind-up. My biggest score was $6k+ and $5k+ both from $215 buy-ins, 4th and 5th place finishes on Merge. So some serious grinding for sure. I have worked hard at stepping up to the mid level games again and so far have done very well. However, I still felt like I was being outplayed in many spots by a lot of the higher buy-in grinders who also play the mid-level tourneys. What to do? Well this is where Mr. Dog and his crew come in.
I seriously only started watching videos here not even two weeks ago. I am a quick learner and believe I apply what I learn quickly and effectively. One of my strengths for sure. But I can only say this, and make sure all of you pay attention. Just so you seriously understand what you can learn from these guys if you really work hard and focus on what they are showing you. I am a lover of golf and so is Dog so I described it too him this way: ‘I feel like I am the scratch golfer who thinks I am pretty good, can beat my friends consistently and at times almost effortlessly. But then suddenly realize (as I watch these videos), that a 0 handicap all of a sudden sucks when trying to play professionally at a higher level. I, like many of you who are here to learn as well am the scratch golfer, and basically…suck!!’ Perhaps we aren’t that bad but you all should get my point 😉
I feel like a guy who is lucky enough to follow around a highly successful pro on the PGA and ask whatever I want and learn heaps from it in the process. All for a price that is beyond fair and affordable. I mean as I type this I am trying to think of better value anywhere on anything, but I am not able to think of anything that comes close. I watched some vids when I got started but really focused on the 4-bet university video, watched over and over again, studying the stack sizes and reasons why in each situation. I used this new weapon in my arsenal and even with some very good regs around me with stacks managed to combat their endless 3 bets and 4 bets. The tourney I am referring to is the Big Ticket on Merge and I grabbed third, good for $10k+. I didn’t close the deal but for the first time in a long time felt I really could win it and will get back there and close the deal hopefully sooner than later.
Now I have been playing a while, and have always won at online poker. At all different games and levels but I feel like only here at 4to1Dog.com I am really starting to learn the game of poker as I am challenging myself to keep moving up to get to the higher levels again. I know with this type of training it will happen for sure, and will happen for all of you as well if you really study and apply this stuff as you go. Big respect and support from me to Dog and his crew!! You have an awesome site and am extremely thrilled to be a part of it guys!! Best of luck to all here going forward and see you at the tables!!”
“I couldn’t be more satisfied with my choice as a poker coach. I found Dog through Pocketfives.com. After reading his blog I contacted him about coaching. After my first session I was overwhelmed with information. I watched a video of a hand history review over and over. I still can not get enough information. He is one hell of a teacher. Since we started working together I have recorded my highest cash. Being a consistent player is what I strive to become and I am well on my way.”
“A special thanks to a very special player and coach. Thank you for taking me under your wing and turning my game and my confidence at the table around 10 fold. There is not enough time or space to tell others how I feel about your coaching methods, or dedication to your students. This is absolutely the best decision I have ever made in my poker career. As a player I feel blessed to be a part of 4to1dog.com and a student as well. I only expect great things from here on out under your guidance and direction. If you are looking to change your life in the poker world “4to1dog” is your man!”
“I have played poker for many years when I decided to get a coach. I was scared of the large, hourly coaching fees. I found 4to1dog, and couldn’t be happier. Anything I need to help my game he has been there for me! If you are looking to take your game up a notch, talk to this guy!”
“I joined 4to1dog coaching with a decent poker background and expected to improve some, but never imagined my game would grow and develop as quickly as it has. If I hadn’t taken this step, I believe the same growth I’ve achieved in three to four months would’ve taken a few years to gain on my own. All the content, videos, and hand examples available to us are great, but the best perk(s) are the coaches themselves. There’s rarely a day that goes by where they aren’t available to answer questions, give advice on a hand, etc. If you are a profitable player and have a decent poker background already, I can relate to the thinking that there isn’t much to gain from coaching. After joining 4to1dog, I couldn’t disagree with this more and I’m very confident when I say that joining this team was the best decision of my poker career. Thank you 4to1dog coaches and teammates for the help!”
